The USC Children’s Health Study is the study that keeps on giving

The USC Children’s Health Study, the well known longitudinal study on children’s respiratory health that began in 1993 and continued until 2013 with over 12,000 participants, has set an example for researchers across the globe. Most recently, USC Keck School of Medicine Professor W. James Gauderman has collaborated with a group of researchers at Queen Mary University of London as they design a similar study to assess how air pollution reduction strategies being implemented in London may contribute to changes in children’s respiratory health.  Check out the video about the study below.
